When the United Health Foundation partnered with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley to launch a new mobile clinic, it was more than a milestone—it was a lifeline for communities across the Rio Grande Valley, including the Colonias. The unveiling event and the clinic’s first community visit offered a powerful opportunity to tell a meaningful story through video and photography—capturing not just the care being delivered, but the heart behind it.
I led the creative strategy, provided on-location art direction, and developed multi-channel assets to bring this story to life. But beyond the work itself, this project left a lasting impression on me. Seeing the mobile clinic in action, meeting the people it serves, and witnessing the compassion of those making it happen was deeply humbling—and a reminder of the why behind the work.
